　　Our English teacher, Bruce, is from Britain. He is forty years old or so. He is a tall and thin man, wearing a pair of glasses. Bruce is very strict with us. He always makes full preparations for his classes and corrects our homework carefully. His teaching style is quite different from that of other teachers. He always encourages all of us to think by ourselves and learn on our own. Now our ability to study independently has been greatly improved. Bruce has been getting along very well with all of us. He is so kind and friendly to us that we all love him and respect him deeply.

　　这一天下午，我正在上英语课，忽然了我的肚子疼了起来，我想举手，但是我却没有举手，因为我怕老师批评我浪费她的'时间，所以我只好惹着，过了一会儿，我实在忍不住了只好告诉给老师听，老师说：“要紧吗?我去拿风油过来，你在这里坐着哪都不要去。”老师回来后，用风油往我肚子里涂了一下，过了不久，我的肚子就不那么疼了，老师也重新开始讲课了。

　　老师我现在知道你为什么对我们那么严厉了，因为你想把我们的学习成绩提上去，所以你只好对我们严厉一点了，老师教师节到了，我想跟你说一声“老师，您辛苦了。”

　　同学们应该知道上英语课都有报听写的环节，即枯燥又乏味，而我们陈老师有一次在报听写的'时候，竟然把单词用戏曲的声调报出来，起初同学们感到莫名其妙，静了一会儿后，就发出阵阵笑声，呆板的报听写也立马变的有趣起来，从这以后，每次同学们的听写成绩都很好呢！

　　最精彩的一次我记得是陈老师布置了一篇周记，要求50个单词以上，这时有几个“懒鬼”抱怨开了：“作文怎么要写这么多单词？”还有几个装着一副可怜兮兮的样子乞求说：“伟大的陈老师呀，减少一点吧！”我心想：这怎么可能呢？别做白日梦啦。结果出乎我的意料，陈老师竟然说：“可以。”话未说完，那几个“懒鬼”就欢呼雀跃起来，正当高兴之时，陈老师接着说：“我尊重你们的意见，你们说减少一点，我就减少一点，减到49个单词。”顿时教室里爆出一阵哄笑声，那几个“懒鬼”也惭愧地低下了头......这时，李智同学开始卖乖了：“老师，我很爱学习的，给我加点单词吧！”“好！51个单词”哈哈哈，教室里传出了阵阵笑声。

　　好玩的事情不止这一件，还想听的话，我就再说一个吧。

　　我们刚刚复习了小学学的数词（1~10)，老师说：“我竖一根手指你们就说one！两根就two！……听懂了没？”“听懂了！”我们大喊“two！four！three！one！one！one！one！”我们还不知道什么回事，老师就笑了：“真是一群可爱的小狗啊！”我们这才知道上当了，个个脸上露出带有笑意的“愤怒”。
